hi,
I have just completed the BOISET 2 and MIST course at falck nutec in dyce, aberdeen.
on the course one of the tutors also told us we'd need to do banksman slinging course also to have any chance of getting offshore unless we were wanting to go into the catering side of things. he said we wouldnt need to do the full greenhand course because the greenhand is basically the MIST course and the banksman slinging course.
i keep getting told lots of different things from different people.
should i now go and do my banksman slinging course? |

been told that if I want to work in the well services side of things that i wont need a banksman slingers course.
anyone help? |

Just seen your message, having the stage 1 banksman qualification would help with your chances of getting a hands-on job. if you haven't found one yet, this is offered at the sister company of Falck Nutec, Falck onsite.
